Jack's Magic's The Purple Stuff provides salt water pool owners with an effective way to prevent stain formation in the rough environment that salt generators create, while keeping them free of scale build-up that can affect overall pool health. The Purple Stuff's unique formula is unaffected by high salt and TDS environments, and only requires monthly treatments to keep your pool spotless and healthy without adding complexity to your routine maintenance.

Dosage:

Initial Dose:

32 fl oz per 10,000 gallons

Routine Maintenance:

6-8 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water per week.

Directions:

Maintenance/Prevention:

  1. Maintenance levels for The Purple Stuff are 10-12 ppm.
  2. To determine the amount of The Purple Stuff to add to achieve this level, have pool water tested weekly with a Jack's Magic Sequest Test kit.
  3. If a Sequest Test is not available, an estimated dosage of 6-8 oz. of The Purple Stuff per 10,000 gallons of pool water may be added on a weekly basis. Please keep in mind that it is strictly an estimate and the only way to accurately determine the appropriate dosage is to have it tested.

Stain Removal:

In certain instances, The Purple Stuff can be used to reduce the severity of a stain over time. In order to determine the appropriate method of removing existing stains use a Jack's Magic Stain ID Kit.
